The durable KD-1493 by Kett, is a lightweight shear that is designed to make quick work of cement board up to 1/2" in thickness. The unit is sealed so no airborne dust can enter during use which allows for minimal clean up. The variable cutting speeds of up to 2500 RPM allows you to match the tools speed to your pace, while the reliable, long-lasting A-2 tool aluminum blades are designed to far outlast any other cutting blades on the market.

Like the P-592, the P-592C 90 PSI, 2200 RPM, variable speed, pistol grip pneumatic model comes with an aluminum cutting head to cut backer board and fiber-cement board up to 3/8" with no airborne dust and minimal clean-up. The long lasting A-2 tool steel blades last longer and cut cleaner than expensive carbide tipped saw blades. And the special contour center blade allows you to cut tighter curves.
