The SC-9 Scarifier is the contractor’s solution too small to medium size coating removal/preparation jobs. The SC-9 features a durable 1/4” welded steel body. Wheels are mounted close to the scarifying cage giving the unit the weight and balance to achieve light removal up to a 1/8” thick. Specially designed six cage shaft allows for smooth operation. Easy cage changes eliminate costly down time. Your choice of hardened steel cutters, carbide cutters, or special milling flails with tungsten blades, allows you to change the function of the machine in minutes.
The six-shaft cage configuration allows for:
- More cutters per loading and increased grinding action.
- Fewer cutter changes and more production plus.
- Smoother drum rotation which leads to less machine vibration.
